UniHome (we) collects and processes personal information for the purposes set out below. This policy is provided in compliance with Korea's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).
1. Information we collect
When you reach out via phone, KakaoTalk, or WeChat, we receive: your name (or messenger handle), your contact number, and the content of your inquiry. When you proceed to view properties, we may additionally collect preferred area, budget, intended move-in date, and visa/student status as needed for matching.
2. Purpose of processing
We use your information to respond to inquiries, match suitable properties, support contracts and move-in procedures, and (where relevant) assist with ARC, banking, and utility setup.
3. Retention period
Inquiry records are retained for up to 3 years from the date of last contact, in line with Korea's Consumer Dispute Resolution Standards. Records related to a concluded brokerage contract are retained for 5 years per the Licensed Real Estate Agents Act.
4. Disclosure to third parties
We do not sell or rent your information. We share necessary information with landlords or their agents only with your consent during the rental process.
5. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or suspension of processing of your personal data at any time by contacting us via the channels listed on the Contact page.
